Stand Size and Layout Planning for Textile Exhibitors

The right stand size depends on how many products you display, how many visitors you expect and how many meetings you want to hold at once. A smaller stand of 9 to 18 square metres can work well for focused product displays. Companies that want a meeting room, storage and a large display usually choose 36 square metres or more. Island stands, open on three or four sides, attract the most footfall but also need stronger design from every angle.

For textile companies, the layout should separate three zones: a display zone for fabric swatches, garments, yarn and sample books, a meeting zone for colour, quality and price discussions, and a back-of-house zone for storage and staff. We plan walking paths so visitors can enter easily, see the main product quickly and find a seat without crowding the aisle.

Every textile stand should include true-colour lighting and sample tables. We also plan power points, lighting positions and branding at eye level so your message is visible from the aisle. After design approval, we share a 3D walkthrough so your team can check the layout before fabrication starts.

Checklist Before You Book Your Textile Stand

Before you start the design, collect the exhibitor manual, hall plan, stand number, open sides and height limit from the organiser. Share your logo files, product list, key message and any certifications you want to highlight. Decide how many staff will attend, so the stand has enough seating and storage.

Order venue services such as electricity, internet and rigging before the advance deadline. Ask us to review the manual so approvals and drawings are submitted on time. Finally, plan lead capture: a scanner, a form or a simple register, so every enquiry from the show is followed up within a few days. Our team can also suggest graphics, sampling and demo ideas that suit textile buyers.

On-site installation: our supervisors install, light and finish the stand before opening.

Dismantling: the stand is dismantled and cleared as per the organiser rules.
