Exhibiting in Delhi NCR: Bharat Mandapam, Yashobhoomi and Greater Noida
Delhi NCR is India’s largest exhibition market. Government buyers, large distributors and export houses are all within one region, and the biggest national shows are held here. Three venue clusters matter: Bharat Mandapam in central Delhi, Yashobhoomi in Dwarka and the India Expo Centre in Greater Noida. Each has its own access, rules and cost profile.
Major trade shows in Delhi NCR
- India International Trade Fair (Bharat Mandapam): multi-sector trade and consumer fair, held every November.
- Auto Expo (Bharat Mandapam and India Expo Centre): automotive show, held in alternate years.
- World Food India (New Delhi): food processing and agri, held every year.
- AAHAR (Bharat Mandapam): food and hospitality trade fair, held every March.
- ELECRAMA (India Expo Centre, Greater Noida): electrical industry, held every two years.
- India Mining Week and sector events at Yashobhoomi (Dwarka): industry events held through the year.
Venue notes for stand builders
Bharat Mandapam (the redeveloped Pragati Maidan) is next to Pragati Maidan metro station and has large air-conditioned halls. Yashobhoomi (India International Convention and Expo Centre) in Dwarka is connected to the airport by metro, which suits exhibitors flying in. India Expo Centre and Mart in Greater Noida is about 40 km from central Delhi and has the biggest industrial halls. Each venue has its own approved-contractor rules, and Delhi’s weather affects build planning: winter fog can delay trucks and summer heat affects outdoor loading.
Planning checklist before you book
- Check whether the venue needs approved contractors and pay the stand-build deposit early.
- Fabricate in Mumbai or Delhi NCR and plan truck timing around city entry restrictions for heavy vehicles.
- Use modular systems if you plan to move the stand between Delhi shows.
- Book hotels in Dwarka or Aerocity for Yashobhoomi and in Noida for Greater Noida.
- Allow for traffic and security checks on build and dismantling days.
